It has been a sunny warm Labor day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low is 84-54 so far. Traffic has been fairly steady today with a slight lull at the moment.
Here are just a couple of trains from today and several from the last two days.

8/31/2019

1.  WB 230pm manifest train with BNSF 5936-3813 and Warbonnet 789 on the point with no DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
2. Another shot of Warbonnet 789 on same train.
3. WB 312pm grain train with BNSF 5069-6214 on the pull with DPU and a friendly toot-toot-wave from the hogger.

Looks like the Q-SPOPTL is following the Z-CHCPTL, Larry..

Nice catches today Larry.  Those 2 units in the last photohave been trailing waaay too long--terrible grime.  I noticed you had one like that a couple days ago also.

Brian,

BNSF doesn't seem to care about units being filthy dirty anymore..  It doesn't help they are coal trains that go thru some tunnels that will add to the grime really, really fast..    Add a little moisture from the air, and they are instantly coated...
