Abouth 30 minutes behind an 80 car Guadalupe Turn (LOF 67) was an extra Hauler, running as LOF67X. Auto traffic at the Port of Hueneme has gotta be booming, for the past 3 weeks the Haulers have been about 90% autos and a small bit of manifest at the end of the train. I guess today's run got so big they were forced to run a second train, which mostly consisted of Petroleum tank cars which I'm assuming are bound for Guadalupe.

UP 2002 ran as LOF67X. I didn't hear UP 5338 call a symbol, but assume it ran as LOF67.

My bad, must've heard them wrong. Though I'd think that the extra train would've taken the X symbol

As you noted, it seems like the extra train was just going to Oxnard. The normal crew would be overnighting in Gudalupe (although we don't know that for sure). 

100% certain the 2002 called thesmelves LOF67X at least four times and the dispatcher called them that too. Kept waiting to hear the other one say anything but they only said UP 5338 on the radio.

Ah, thanks for the info. It makes sence to me now why 2002 took the X symbol denoting they would only be going for Oxnard, meanwhile the other train kept the traditional symbol as it would keep it's traditional route. Anyway's the second train "LOF67" is making it's way into SBA now with a warrant straight to Guadalupe. Anyways, word is that 2002 gonna be taken off at the end of this week and sent to WC.
