Western Railroad Discussion > Musings of a foamerDate: 10/03/19 08:28 Musings of a foamer Author: The-late-EMD The U P homestead yard(not the desert yard) in West Oakland is one of the most secure yet empty yard on the system so I wonder why they never store any locomotives there. Tracy and Dunsmuir seems like a less secure place to park their high price toys.it seems good enough to store they passenger fleet why not thein motors.

With UP police becoming rare, it would likely happen again. The Dunsmuir locals care shed more on this story.
