GP60M Jailbreak
Author: TexBob

BNSF GP60M 143 busted out of local service and led the H GATTPL1 04A this evening through Rosenberg,TX at 2052.

Trailing 143 was BNSF 1105/FXE 4608/BNSF 9655/BNSF 9761, any one of which would have been a nice lead unit had
the GP60M not been there.

Glad to see it out. Looking good as it approaches the age of 30. Not as glamorous as in its younger years, but nice just the same.

Robert, nice photo but a great caption for the concept.  We have a flock of GP60Ms here in SoCal.  When one gets out on the main eastbound its not in the lead and we know it is en route to Barstow for service.

Abusing 143 like that will result in it's immediate transfer back to California!
