Information I have is that it should be at Fort Madison around 1000.

Nice catch at an unusual location.
What is wrong with that bridge? It looks like a 1950's car with peeling chrome on the bumpers.

The bridge is mid-sixties vintage. Other than the Burlington Route sign being replaced by the BN one after the merger, very little has been done cosmetically to it....

The train was parked at St. Louis Union Station for a couple of days on tracks 9 & 10. It departed yesterday evening.

It came east through Palmyra MO yesterday from Brookfield and points west. Highly doubtful that it came out of St. Louis. Went west this morning on the Santa Fe transcon this morning as evidenced on the Virtual Railfan webcam at La Plata (approx 1054) ....

Burlington John ....

BN/BNSF never maintained the painted fascia on that bridge. It was always painted aluminum since being built by the CB&Q back in the late 1960’s.As the metal or gets torn off by the weather or wears off of the tie end’s , it doesn’t get replaced.
