Vestas is the company that manufatures the Wind Energy/Turbines etc. Another plant is located south of Pueblo Co near what is known as Stem Beach.  Ben

Vestas manufactures the motors and naciells at Brighton and the blades and towers over in Windsor.
What perplexes me about all of this is here the UP is giving the train to BNSF when they could run it straight across the old KP from Denver to KC and St. Louis and keep the haulage to themselves.
One will never understand PSR.

While I don’t know if this train will do the same. Last week CSX ran a train of turbine parts from St Louis to Crestline, OH. From there it was interchanged to Chicago, Ft Wayne, and Eastern (CF&E) and ran back west on the old Pennsy mainline to Van Wert, OH. Ran with BNSF 8256 and 7350.
