A little night action at Dunsmuir
Author: photobob

It was such a beautiful  night out tonight I went up to the depot  to get a crew change. Here's 5435 south just pulling out of town. The wonders of digital and being able to use a high ISO.

Great use of the dark side Bob. Try doing that with your 4x5.

They had quite the traffic jam today that they're still unwinding, one of the lumber trains had a broken trainline just below Cantara. That used up about 4 hours to get a 'runaround' hose in place,  trains backed up two and three deep on either side. The SB Intermodal just went past about 8-10 hours late. Great day for photos if the sun hadn't gone down a few hours ago.
