Reports of broken rail at Needles sub (not so worried here) and derail at Medley. BN not being super forthcoming other than to say Transcon not effected for Medley and no answer on Needles. Better yet Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF), BN got married to ATSF. Nine or so westbound for Mexico grain loads on the ground about 2 a.m. Thursday. Estimated reopening 9:30 p.m. Friday (today). Cause unknown to outsiders.
