$11.3 Million Federal Grant for Spokane Rail Transload

A project that has been a long time in the making. A Rail Transload facility is coming to the Spokane Airport Industrial Park. This will be part of a number of industries coming to the Spokane County owned Geiger Spur currently operated by the Washington Eastern RR. Several steel customers and a used locomotive dealer are frequent users of the branch, and it's hoped with additional business that the WER Geiger Turn becomes a 5-day a week job.

Where u would least know about it, an active SF GP30. and something that looks like a freight local.   How nice.  I'll take that over all the SD70 and ES44 pix
