A quick google search turned up 72 ft. 5 1/2 in.without and 132ft 9-7/8 with the tender

the tender from 3985 is said to be a foot shorter than the 4000 class tenders, is this true?

Looks like length without tender is 85 ft 9-1/2 inches.

The corresponding drawings for the late 4-6+6-4s
show the same tender length.
