. . . a decade ago, UP's Torrance Switcher was returning from US Gypsum at the end of the branch using former Pacific Electric right of way along Sartori Ave near downtown Torrance. The area in the distance where the white building is used to be Pacific Electric's main shops covering quite a large area atone time employing a lot of Torrance residents.
