Western Railroad Discussion > Coos Bay Rail Link #1916Date: 11/16/19 22:10 Coos Bay Rail Link #1916 Author: Resolution Hi All,
Went past Eugene yard today and spotted CBRL #1916 sitting at the north end of the arrivals yard (30 yard) on its own. I looks immaculate like it has just be reworked. Anyone aware of the history of this locomotive? I know it used to be a WRIX Western Rail Inc locomotive and wondering if it has just been repainted. Regards Date: 11/17/19 01:44 Re: Coos Bay Rail Link #1916 Author: Evan_Werkema According to the CBRL roster on Trainweb, it started life as high-hood N&W GP35 #210. It was chopnosed during a stint on the Great Smoky Mountains Ry.
