UP 4014 Big Boy Tour traversed Oklahoma Saturday, certainly the biggest steam power ever on these rails.  Every station stop was hugely crowded with more onlookers than ever before, and the road caravan was somewhere around 250 automobiles, making it necessary to have your locations picked out well in advance and stay ahead of the crowds.

1.     Coming through Braggs OK, not a station stop on this tour, but most of the townspeople were out to see it blast bye along with several of the traveling photographers.

2.     Out of the trees working uphill to Okay Jct OK--at this location out in remote nowhere I found it not so much "secret" and required some croping of sightseers

3.     Drifting south of Inola OK

4.     Business Car Kenefick bringing up the rear south of Inola

5.     Low light charge out of Lenapah OK with 11 more miles to Coffeyville KS

6.     A Special following a Special---UP 6741-7826 following on yellow blocks with DODX flats and military equipment

Wow Brian, sure glad you got to see UP 4014 in person. Looks like you had a great day chasing the 4014. Nice catch of the military move and staying away from the crowd. Maybe I'll see the 4014 someday.
