Western Railroad Discussion > BirdseyeDate: 11/27/19 03:37 Birdseye Author: funnelfan A westbound manifest grinds it's way up the east slope of Mullan Pass in July of 2005 at Birdseye, MT. This was the one time jct of the NP Marysville Branch.

Clough Jct. is where the the Marysville line went north (your photo location). Birdseye is back towards the rear of this train. Mr J.B. Clough was an early NP engineering feller. https://snaccooperative.org/ark:/99166/w60h0z5t Thanks for the look. Dave in Missoula Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/27/19 11:09 by monaddave. While I knew Birdseye was the siding near where the rear of the train is, didn't realize the junction had a different name. Thanks for the Clarification.
