Steam & steel the night before
Author: santafe199

Here’s a handy follow-up to the S&S thread I posted late last night. It’s another ‘teaser’ image as I’m working well past the halfway mark in getting 1700+ Big Boy related digital photos weeded down, located & tagged with pertinent info. After a pleasant supper with 3 fellow TO members, and before checking into my motel in Hays, Kansas I went back down to the spot where the Big Boy was parked overnight. It was interesting to just sit and watch the activity. Then a truck stopped with its headlights aimed at a strategic spot, giving me a reason to take a few more shots. I didn’t even have to get out of my driver’s seat…

1. UP 4014 is momentarily illuminated by the glare of truck headlights in Hays, KS on November 21, 2019. Tomorrow we’ll all be off on another chasing adventure…

Thanks for looking!

I’d recommend a touch more ISO for those night shots.

No no.  It's just right.
