CP #7020 Military Tribute Unit visits Wisconsin
Author: kschmidt626

On a dreary day in Southeast Wisconsin word got out that CP #7020 Military tribute unit was leading CP Train #199 out of Chicago.  After that let the fun begin.  The weather went from light rain, to rain/snow mix most of the time.  It was great to see one of these units.  It was a good chase and along with the Packer win it was a good day.

Shot #1  CP #7020 leading #199 at Waterford Ave (Powerton) on the southside of Milwaukee.
Shot #2 and #3.  #7020 is moving slow while the train is moving through the Milwaukee Depot.  The shot is taken from Canal Street

Some more shots.

Shots #4 and #5 from Canal Street bridge over the tracks.  This is Cut Off

Shot #6 This was supposed to be a great shot at Duplainville.  However there was a green signal for an eastbound.  There were probably at least 12-14 other railfans here.  Then came the shouts.  The eastbound was approaching also.  So here is the meet shot at Duplainville Road.  Almost a recreation the "Scribbins" Hiawatha shot.

Thanks

Unfortunate thing about painting units in camoflage is they're relatively hard to see
