Author: SPgoletablock

-F7(A) #100 was originally delivered from EMD to the C&NW as their #4068 in March of 1949. It was rebuilt as a commuter motor in 1959 and renumbered to #409, before becoming Chicago RTA #409 in 1978 and then Metra in 1983. Later it went to Rails Diversified, and then to Winchester & Western, and then again to Maryland Midland as their #100. It now resides comfortably and fully operational in Southern California on the Fillmore and Western.
-S-6 #1059 a June 1956 product of Alco was originally delivered to the Southern Pacific. Its number was changed to SP 1226 before it changed hands to the Ventura County Railway as #9. This unit of coarse is also enjoying its extended life under the care of the Fillmore and Western Shortline.
