Here is the video of the Schnabel heading Westbound. Enjoy! CSXT 362 West SNOWCW-26 (Special-New Orleans-W. Colton-Wide load) --- Eloy, AZ 2019.12.03 @ 5:28 PM SouthWest RailCams CA, NM, CO, TX, AZ https://SouthWestRailCams.com You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! Since it was headed down to the San Diego area, I suspect we should be seeing something large being transported out of the SoCal area.

Date: 12/05/19 18:23 Re: The Westbound Schnabel on the Gila Sub Video! Author: PHall Somebody else in another thread said it was headed to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating plant.
There's still a pair of generators, turbines and a whole transformer yard to remove. Date: 12/05/19 20:33 Re: The Westbound Schnabel on the Gila Sub Video! Author: TheNavigator Nice video Christina; thanks for posting! (I posted some pics of it on the Nostalgia Board from 1984 when it was at Long Beach.)

Date: 12/06/19 14:03 Re: The Westbound Schnabel on the Gila Sub Video! Author: the_expediter Thanks, Christina...Most Interesting train...our TO friends in Orange County will have to let us know if they see this at San Onofre...
And Christina, Thank you for all your hard work implementing the equipment to track the BNSF and UP across AZ...Steve Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/06/19 19:01 by the_expediter. Date: 12/06/19 16:03 Re: The Westbound Schnabel on the Gila Sub Video! Author: 2472Don It is probably heading to that siding near SONGS (San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station); the one near the USMC Camp Pendleton Beach Cottages, as it passed through San Juan Capistrano just after midnight. There are still some huge generators, transformers, etc. just laying around the almost decommissioned nuke energy plant. There also are a couple of nuclear powered warships that are going through "nuclear reactor swaps" down at Naval Base San Diego. And... thanks Christina for another interesting video capture!
