Continuing this series with photos from Tuesday 9/10.

Like the previous 4 parts, most of these photos were taken at Viento State Park on the Oregon (south) side of the River.

1) 7:44 AM: BNSF C44-9W #5015 leads a westbound covered hopper unit (most likely grain), along with ES44C4 #6679.

2) 8:35 AM: UP C45AH (ET44AH) #2571 leads an eastbound manifest, the MPDNPB-10, along with SD70ACe #8753, C45ACCTE (ES44AC) #5408, SD70M #4170, C45ACCTE #7350, and SD70ACe #8564. The UP #2571 East has a highball at the approach signal for the west end of the siding at Meno.

3) 12:15 PM: UP SD70AH #8977 leads an eastbound manifest, the MPDOG-10, along with C45ACCTE #7748, C44AC (AC4400CW) #7108, and C45ACCTE #7395.

Next Three:

4) 2:24 PM: BNSF GP38-2 #2263 (nee-Frisco #408) and GP39-3 #2640 (nee-AT&SF GP35 #1403) are the power for the eastbound local, heading towards the mill at Bingen-White Salmon with a single empty lumber spine car.

5) 2:29 PM: CP rebuilt AC4400CWM #8075 (ex-#9543) is the 2nd of 4 engines on a UP westbound loaded grain unit, the GSETHS-09; the lead engine is UP C44ACCTE (AC4400CW) #6007, the 3rd is CEFX AC4400CW #1046, and the 4th (DPU) is CP AC4400CW #9615.

6) 3:22 PM: The BNSF local returns westbound as light power after having dropped off the single spine car, and is lined through the siding at Cooks to go around an eastbound manifest (power on the manifest was ES44C4 #6786 and C44-9W #5353).

7) 4:17 PM: UP C45AH (ES44AH-T4CU) #2560 leads an eastbound intermodal, the ITAG4-10, along with C45ACCTE (Preproduction ES44AC) #5696, C45AH (ES44AH-T4CU) #2555, and 2 DPU's: C45AH (ES44AH) #8264 and SD70M #5122.

8) 4:21 PM: View of the DPU's.

9) 6:04 PM: Amtrak P42DC Genesis #135 leads train #28, the eastbound Portland section of the Empire Builder, through the east end of the siding at Cooks.
