One UP train in Caldwell, TX
Author: texchief1

UP C45AH(ET44AC) 2589 leads a SB boxcar and vehicle train at Caldwell, TX on the UP Giddings Sub.  It is approaching CP FL032.  It is 3:45pm, January 11, 2020.  The BNSF Galveston Sub bridge is in the background.

Nice location to shoot from.  Maybe a chance for a over/under a few times a year?

Brian, it is too grown up around the bridge to get much of the BNSF train.  About 8 years ago when it was more open I got an over  under shot that Joe McMillan put in one of his UP calendars.  There is a cable that is starting to sag into the UP shots if you are not careful.  Pretty soon will probably have to use photoshop to get it out of the picture
