Western Railroad Discussion > Stockton Yard, PSR, Yard Jobs and Locals

Hi folks,

With PSR directing a massive amount of traffic to UP's Stockton Yard, I heard they had to create a bunch of new yard jobs and locals to handle the traffic.

Does anyone have a current list of these? I already know the following:

1. Oakdale Local
2. Lodi Local
3. Tracy Turn

What am I missing?

There's more than one yard in Stockton.  What's the BNSF locals lineup out of Mormon?

Only one, the Sacramento Local, which goes up the UP Fresno Sub to the Cemex plant at Polk and on alernating weekdays, to McClellen Park to interchange with the Sacramento Valley RR (SAV). When traffic warrants it, they will run extras on weekends. There are no other locals and no road switchers that originate at either Mormon or Riverbank yards.

Is this so that UP can shut the hump down at Roseville?
