Western Railroad Discussion > Derailment at Knapp, WIDate: 01/12/20 20:33 Derailment at Knapp, WI Author: dsrc512 A friend sent photos from Facebook of derailment at speed (cars stacked vertically) at Knapp, WI. The village is roughly 150 miles east of Minneapolis on US 12 and a bit north of I-94. No details but photos show covered hoppers and no visible signs of fire. Derailment occurred around 5:00 p.m. CT. today. All information is second hand.
