Author: BoilingMan I was headed out the door to run down and p/u the mail (no local delivery here, it's all PO Boxes in Dutch Flat) and heard an EB grinding up from Gold Run. There's a light dusting of snow this morning- might make for a nice photo- so I when back in for the camera. I was surprised by 3 deer out on the tracks. The sound of the shutter spooked 2 of them away, but this youngster stopped and stared for a moment...

SR Date: 01/14/20 13:14 Re: Hey- Don't be Looking at ME! Author: ShortlinesUSA The pack of coyotes watching us in Oregon while waiting on the Toledo Crawler got a little unnerving. Maybe my fanning partner and I looked a little old and slow. ;-p

Probably the Alpha Male leaving us a message... Date: 01/14/20 13:36 Re: Hey- Don't be Looking at ME! Author: PHall ShortlinesUSA Wrote:

Most urban coyotes have zero fear of humans. > Date: 01/14/20 16:48 Re: Hey- Don't be Looking at ME! Author: co614 When I owned a farm in northern NY State we were bothered by a pack of Coyotes who were killing our calves. My farm manager shot 3 of them and hung the carcasses on trees at different points around the place and the rest of them got the word.
