I can't find the reporting marks for one of these EAMX specimens!
Any info?

Everest Railcar Services? The only time I've seen EAMX open hoppers were on a Unit Ethanol train in buffer service to CA. I can't remember the originating station, maybe Ravana? Neat fact: the buffers were full of crushed glass.

Not a flammable load but would be a real nasty mess in case of a derailment.

there is a customer in St Louis called Strategic who uses these EAMX cars to load crushed glass.
