Cumby tx

I've traveled between little rock and dallas for years and I know the tracks parallel I30 for a few miles, but I've never seen a train on these tracks so my question is are these tracks abandoned or I just be passing through at a bad time?

Also I've noticed that the signals between sulphur springs and cumby are the newer PTC type signals so is this the kcs line or UP? TIA

KCS, probably about a dozen trains per day.

You must have bad timing. This is a very busy line. KCS Greenville subdivision with 10 to 12 trains a day.

Somewhat parallel State Hwy 11 is a pleasant alternative to the fast paced I-30, and
you will be almost guaranteed to see a KCS train
