NICE chase Christina thru my old stomping grounds except for Maricopa. In your first video train was moving right along with friendly toots from the hogger. Looks like you had a fun chase!

Really nice locations and videos.  It is nice you caught a Heritage Unit so often.  Really rolling smooth and fast--sounds like the rails have just been ground recently.

Notice how there's no weeds or bushes near the tracks, 300 feet each way at the xings?
That's no accident!, they all have to be (or were) cut and sprayed, so motorists can clearly see the on coming trains, and those desert weeds/bushes are very Tough and Hell to chop down!
That's what I did out there back in the early 2000's.
Just realized however, it also makes for a clearer view of the trains also, for photography, at the xings!
Kind of an un-intended benefit for railfans, of the UP xing vegetation management program! :-)
