Blue skies and SUN, oh yeah it's -12 degrees!
Author: rrartist

I've always said, no matter how cold it is as long as the truck starts and the camera batteries are charged, I'll go out looking for a few trains! -12 degrees greeted me as I headed out the door this morning and so here are the results of my morning adventure. CP 288 had the CP 8155 / 9351 elephant style rumbling through Dresbach MN and again rolling into La Crosse WI. Amtrak is 10+ hours late so no flying snow images of him today. The BNSF had a few trains to run starting with the Z STPCHC running on Main One towards Chicago on the southside of La Crosse.

Here is another look at the Z STPCHC as it blasts eastward out of La Crosse WI. The sun is kind of hard to work with as the Winter moves along so I relocated about two mile further north for the U CPGPLU and the BNSF 6397. Stay warm my friends!

Great Winter shots Jim! Like the red CP units againt the white snow. Also like the BNSF trains whipping up the snow. Winter has disappeared once again in the backyard with Fall type temps.

Ditto, Lance, but if Kansas is like Iowa, you wait 15 minutes and it will change, maybe for the better!  LOL

Nice shots, Jim, thanks for posting.
