A pair of trains in daylight, with the Sun out and some pool power was enough to get me out of the house:}

1) Union Pacific #6615 leads a Modena, UT to Pueblo, CO empty rail train Eastbound at Tunnel siding in De Beque Canyon.

2) BNSF #5654 heads up the Provo to Denver trackage rights train as it approaches the town of De Beque.

3) A wider view with the NS and UP visitors. You can also see the DP in the background, shoving on the rear of the 108 car train.

Nice, a Modena UT symboled train is about as common as steam on that line! I'd tell you to
get to work but then we wouldn't be getting these great shots!

They get rail from both soures. I beleive the rail from Pueblo is head-hardened rail, while the rail from Japan is not.
