BNSF SD45-2 Question?
Author: ns2557

I am aware that BNSF now calls these units SD40-2's, but there is no mistaking that carbody. My question for the BNSF guys, what are the locations that these ex 20 Cyl units are currently assigned to? Pueblo Colo, where 1581 is at currently is the 2nd of these that have been here on a regular basis, the other being 1579. Just curious as to where BNSF is using them at. Thanks for any help, appreciated. Be well all, Ben        (BNSF 1581 at Pueblo Co  03-18-2020)

A few years ago there use to be three (BNSF 1571, 1574, and 1575) regularly assigned to the Boron local out of Barstow, CA.
