Human Webcam Action On The BNSF Lakeside Sub

It was a pleasant sunny day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Northern Transcon with a few afternoon clouds. The high-low was 58-29, good temps for the human webcam. Traffic was fairly steady with 28 since midnight and more on the horizon. Here  are some of the trains from today and some from yesterday.

3/18/2020

1. WB 352pm coal train with BNSF 5817-7295-8752 on the point with DPU and a friendly wave from the hogger.
2. DPU BNSF 8477 on same train.
3. WB 426pm coke train with BNSF 3735-8094 on the pull with DPU.

4. DPU BNSF 4023 on same coke train.
5. EB 510pm auto/mannifest train with BNSF 9021-8050-7756 on the pull with no DPU.
6. WB 527pm oil train with BNSF 5035-8803 on the point with DPU's.

7. Another shot of BNSF 8803 on same train.
8. Middle DPU's BNSF 7282 and CSXT 5249 on EB 608pm 3x2x1 Mega empty ethanol train. Front of train sneaked by me while I was cooking, darn it.
9. End DPU BNSF Grinstein 9606 on same Mega train.

10. WB 954am grain train with BNSF 8507-8184 on the point with DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
11.WB 1037am garbage/manifest train with BN Green 1979 and BNSF 1774-2363 on the pull with no DPU. Nice to see the older power pulling long freights.
12. Another shot of BNSF 2363 on same train.

13. EB 1059am grain train with BNSF 6321-4542 on the point with DPU and a friendly wave from the conductor.
14.BNSF 482825 Colorado and Southern Heritage Hopper rolling in same train.

EB 1213pm grain train with BNSF 5264 and CP 8733 on the pull with DPU.

19. EB 211pm manifest train with BNSF 7931-7604 on the pull with DPU.
20. DPU BNSF 5656 on same train. Had about 60 covered gondolas.
21. Grab shot of EB 249pm grain train with BNSF 7299? and CP 8029-8730-8920 on the point with no DPU.

This was the SPOPAS, Spokane to Pasco train, which has been using GPs and SDs for the past couple weeks.

Maybe you have already given us the information, but....

what does your "perch" look like?
Are you on a balcony drinking coffee and taking pictures?
Is it a deer stand in a tree?
A Lawn chair on a pile of ties?

As Bill said, one perch is on the side of the hill, the other is my covered patio which I use in the rain, snow and grab shots.

Photos #19 & #20 are if the EVESPO going the "long" way from Everett to Spokane due to the monster Q-CHCSSE was combined with a S-LPCTAC that went west over Stevens Pass (ex-GN).
