Western Railroad Discussion > Streetcar Stranded on I-80 in IowaDate: 03/21/20 12:00 Streetcar Stranded on I-80 in Iowa Author: kevink While driving east after packing up my daughter’s dorm room early, we passed a yellow streetcar on a trailer on the westbound shoulder of I-80. The was no semi present so it wasn’t going anywhere fast. This was just west of the US 61 exit on the north side of Davenport IA.

It was already a long emotional day for my daughter so I elected not to turn around for a picture. I did a little research on the web and I am fairly certain it was a Gomaco-built trolley heading back to Ida Grove IA for work. http://www.gomacotrolley.com/index.html Posted from iPhone Date: 03/22/20 08:58 Re: Streetcar Stranded on I-80 in Iowa Author: ts1457 kevink Wrote:
