It was a cool cloudy and sometimes snowy day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub with a high-low of 39-31 with .20 of melted snow. Traffic was fairly steady with 29 trains since midnight. Here are some of the trains from today and a few from yesterday.

3/24/2020

1. EB 414pm manifest train with BNSF 8252-5290-9978-5791 on the point with DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
2. EB 426pm grain train with BNSF 4216-4153 on the pull with DPU and a friendly wave from the conductor.
3. Nice clean green BN hopper rolling in same train for SP8100.

4.  EB 450pm grain train with BNSF 4610-267 on the point with DPU.
5.  WB 634pm grain train with BNSF 7351-6743 on the pull with DPU with a friendly toot-toot-wave from a friend at the throttle. Good roll-by!

14. EB 110pm intermodal train with BNSF 7396 and Warbonnet 4714 on the point with DPU. Taken from open car window, lol.

16. EB 206pm intermodal/empty coal train with BNSF Orange Blast on the point with no DPU in heavy snowfall.

As suddenly as the snow came, it went away just as fast.

19. WB 236pm graintrain with BNSF 3830 on the point with DPU's.
20. DPU's BNSF 7958-3987 on same train.

#4 was going to our railroad at Four Lakes, Washington.    Glad it was in the day unlike some grain trains that sneak by you in the cover of darkness!!!
