Staying At Home With West Siberia

With all of us ordered to Stay At Home in California until further notice I've had plenty of free time to go through my archives.

Nice photo!

Not knowing the area, was there another track at the bottom right? I see alot of stick rail to the side of what appears to be a former grade.

No, never any track this side of the near track, which dates from 1923 or so. If you look at the online aerials you can see where the pre-1923 single track was. (And in his pic you can see an S-curve in the single track, past the first auto rack.)
