This afternoon I caught a HKCKTPL6-08A with more engines bound for Galveston passing Cleburne, the train is sitting crewless in Rio Vista right now, the train ahead of HKCKTPL6 a coal load busted a coupler sperated went into emergency right in front of me in town tied the main up for an hour. Overall had a good day today.

I had forgotten all about the "hydrogen" engine.  Did it ever work?  How many engines in that string today.?

I did at Rio Vista but he got tied down and crewless at Rio, after a coal load in front of him broke a coupler tied the main for a good while, plus my camera suddenly died on me.

It would please a fair number of engineers if the re-built 500 series  GE Dash 8"s were included in the funeral train.

Wonder if the 299 got left in Emporia I guess HKCKTPL picked that set up there, is it the only SD75I Fakebonnet left I think there is one SD75M warbonnet left?

Whats wrong with the rebuilt 500 class B40-8W units? This is not the first time I have read unfavorable posts about them.

The 299 wouldn't pass an air test, it's now on the H KCKTPL8 06A.

Rough riding, slow loading, really bad lateral motion at higher speeds, desktop controls suck to switch with...
