Date: 04/08/20 22:29 Re: ex-GN SDP40, ex-ATSF GP30 to Galveston Author: mojaveflyer I agree with KRM152, I hope the SDP ends up in a museum in Big Sky Blue or the original Empire Builder paint.

PQM Date: 04/09/20 11:06 Re: ex-GN SDP40, ex-ATSF GP30 to Galveston Author: GN1969 I saw the GN SDP40s in Minot in the summer of 1969.
Rode behind two of them on the Western Star to Everett. Date: 04/09/20 13:25 Re: ex-GN SDP40, ex-ATSF GP30 to Galveston Author: p87guy Just rolled past Blue Mound Rd. (Haslet, TX). Appears to have a red signal at Lake Wanda.
p87guy Haslet, TX Date: 04/09/20 13:41 Re: ex-GN SDP40, ex-ATSF GP30 to Galveston Author: p87guy Cleared out of Lake Wanda, red signal at the Wichita Falls Sub. crossing (Saginaw, TX).
p87guy Haslet, TX Date: 04/09/20 13:46 Re: ex-GN SDP40, ex-ATSF GP30 to Galveston Author: p87guy Still rolling through CP3548, but now cleared all the way to Bredenberg, MP 348.
p87guy Haslet, TX Date: 04/09/20 14:43 Re: ex-GN SDP40, ex-ATSF GP30 to Galveston Author: bnsfsd70 Glad to hear that you were able to find it down there. Looks like some gnarly weather south of DFW right now.

How fast did they go? what mechanical condition is it? LUGO? Date: 04/09/20 15:19 Re: ex-GN SDP40, ex-ATSF GP30 to Galveston Author: p87guy I believe it's still stuck, waiting to cross. I lost track once it got to Bredenberg. There is a SB waiting to cross Tower 55, which I believe is the power move. Another SB crossed ahead of it, so I think it's next in line. There is a NB cleared up to Tower 55. Once it gets to Tower 55, we'll see if the power move gets a green. However, that's assuming the SB waiting is the power move.
Date: 04/09/20 15:31 Re: ex-GN SDP40, ex-ATSF GP30 to Galveston Author: p87guy The SB waiting to cross, is now crossing Tower 55. Cleared to N. Crowley. Maybe somebody along the route can confirm if it is the power move.
Date: 04/09/20 15:53 Re: ex-GN SDP40, ex-ATSF GP30 to Galveston Author: p87guy Well, I've lost it, literally and figuratively. It looked like the SB made it to Birds, then a NB was cleared to Birds. However, I thought there was a train already at Birds, so I have no idea. It should be headed your way Jayman, but don't know it's current loacation.
