It was a partly cloudy to cloudy breezy cool day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub. The high-low was 58-37. Traffic is at 14 trains since midnight. Traffic has been light for a Friday. Here are a few trains from today and a few from the last two days with a quick look back at 2015.

5/20/2020

1. EB 309pm garbage/manifest train with BNSF 6701-8000-6737 on the point with DPU in the rain.

2. EB 858am empty coal train with BNSF 5906-9364 on the pull with DPU's.

7. EB 1101am 3x2x1 Mega grain train with BNSF 4199-7113-6281 on the pull with DPU's. A LONG train!

Nice catches Larry.  Looks like the vegetation in current photos has greened up a little.  Big batch of orange but at least not all GEs

Mega trains. Used to be unusual here on the Stampede but I see two or three a day now. So do the crews get more money operating them? When I was driving truck we made more per mile pulling triples in Oregon than doubles.
