BNSF sure seems to be growing their business while UP seems to be in a race to the bottom.  Yesterday here in Pocatello we had a mere 5 westbounds and 5 eastbounds in a 24 hour period......and that is UP's only main line to the pacific northwest!  We have fallen so much from the days when we saw 30 trains through Pocatello on an average day.  Glad to see someone is getting traffic.

The UP move looks like a local.  If true, where does it run from and to?  Thanks.  JTH

Most likely this is a local out of Montclair that switches a large lumber distribution facility on north side of BNSF between Riverside and Highgrove.  I have seen it several times over the years in the mid-morning to early afternoon hours.  I have seen it weekdays and on Saturdays as well.

Mira Loma, and runs to Arlington and delivers to Riverside area near Iowa Ave and Chicago Ave a few times a week.
