Eastbound Coal Loads Belen
Author: texchief1

Was watching the Belen webcam yesterday and a EB loaded coal came through.  Does anybody know where that came from and where it is going?

Thanks for your help.

Pretty sure that was the Cochise train, as I saw they were staging it yesterday. C-ESMDCH loads at El Segundo Mine on the Baca spur off the Gallup Sub. Interchanged to UP at Deming, NM, for the Apache plant at Cochise, AZ.

What coal hoppers/gondolas were used?

Do these still operate over the Southwestern Railroad between Rincon, NM and Deming or am I mixing these up with another train?

If they are interchanging with the UP in Deming, they are using the Southwestern RR from Rincon west to Deming.
