Truck strikes BNSF railroad bridge in Brookfield, Mo
Author: SantaFeCF7

Two photos at KMZU radio news link. I will try to find more photos and any other information I can find. BNSF bridge inspector is to be here tomorrow.

I decided to drive over to get a look for something to do while laundry was in the dryer. So I have added a photo to this post showing the damage without having to visit an external link.

Had to be a 14' trailer--some high cube trailers like that are out there.  Most trailers in the trucking biz are 13' 6" inches high.

Or click the link and see it was a truck that transports trash dumpsters and read he left the bed up. :-)

Those roll off trucks with one of the taller roll off bins on them can be pretty tall.
The ones we had at work for scrap metal were about 8 feet tall while on the ground.

Nah, coach is known for passing judgement without bothering with things like facts.

There are some pretty cool YT videos of dump trucks at speed with the bed up taking out bridges. It must make a lot of noise. Given that some of them are doing 50ish mph, the destruction is vastly greater than any of the 11 foot 8 videos.
