Yes.  There was a switch crew working Wednesday night when we passed through.   They had a GP38 or similar with a GP30.  Guessing the GP30 was depowered.  Fresh paint on both.
There was also a BN green EMD that had graffiti on the side in town.

Also just east of the yard office is a Ex Alaska GP getting a prime mover.
And go south over the River to the next set of tracks and go East for a TNER GP9 or go west to the DCFB Alco.

I guess the local that serves Garbage City comes out of Dodge as well. Wih the CVR interchange Dodge can be a pretty
busy place.

If you’re referring to Garden City then no that local is based out of Garden City, or at least it was when I was out there a few years back

Two shifts during weekdays, one on weekends at Dodge, all RCO jobs. Garden City has a road switcher based in town and there's a local from La Junta to Dodge and back.

Thanks for the Garden City info, was strange becaiuse the power never seemed to tie down there but it's been a few
years since I was back there.

Well for the last 16 years it's tied down at Garden City for sure. Just west of the depot across the street where the power parks.

That's what makes railfanning interesting. I was in Graden City a couple days a month for nine years, our account manager ,made calls with me
around the depot area and while we'd see the power switching, never saw it parked.
