Hazardous Smoke Continues On The BNSF Lakeside Sub
Author: Ritzville

It was another very hazardous smoke day in Ritzville, WA On the BNSF Northern Transcon with a high-low of 74-53. Sun has been completely obliterated, making for cool temps. The smoke will be here for another two day before a cold front rolls thru the area. Sure do need a mask when taking pictures. Traffic is at 20 trains since midnight. The monitor does not show any trains at the moment. Might be getting ready for the bridge replacement on the Falbridge Sub. Here are some trains from today and a few from yesterday.

Some pictures will have the smoke filtered, others will be smoky.

Hi Larry, I heard on news about massive bushfires in Calfornia and Orgeon and it looks very bad and terrible, as we had one like this in Sydney NSW last Christmas and New Year. So I am hoping that we wont have other massive bushfires here in next summer season. Okay, thanks again for sharing.

Regards,

Barry Cook

Thanks Brian and Barry! The fires on the West Coast have been terrible as were the fires in Australia last Chriistmas. Will be glad when smoke finally clears.
