There were a thousand interesting angles and activities to shoot — even in the smoke — at the BNSF bridge replacement project along the Columbia River, west of Bingen, Washington, at Drano Lake this weekend.

Here's one of them: A pair of bridge inspectors take a look over the new structure after the first eastbound train passed yesterday. They stayed atop the bridge while the second train came through.
