BNSF 8093 East loaded Herzog ballast train from the Parkdale Quarry was suppose to be long gone.  Fortunately, a helpful UP hy-rail guy clued me in that the BNSF unit ballast train was late in loading at the Parkdale Quarry.  He didn't know its exact location so I took a chance on Portland, CO.  After a 45-minute wait I was rewarded with this encounter Monday, 14 September 2020.

Stored units are in the background still lettered for the lessor San Luis & Rio Grande; 4138 is the Adams State University painted unit.  Other stored units; SLRG 4141, 4144.
