It was a cool breezy partly cloudy day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Northern Transcon. The High-low was 68-48 with .13 of rain. More nice rain due tomorrow morning with strong winds. Sure can do without the 40mph wind. Traffic is at 29 trains since midnight with more on the way. Here are some trains from today and the last couple of days.

1. WB 125pm "Z" train with BNSF 8281-7772-8177-4294 on the point with no DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
2. WB 136pm manifest train with BNSF 9232-3991 on the pull with no DPU.
3. WB 325pm coal train with BNSF 8568-6145 on the point with DPU's and a friendly toot-toot-wave from the hogger.

4. DPU's BNSF 9077 and Warbonnet 779 on same train.

5. WB 943am grain train with BNSF 8239-7604 on the pull with DPU.
6. 946am sparrows gathering for a seed snack with the doves and quail.

7. EB 1038am empty coal train with BNSF 6363-6382 on the pull with DPU's.
8. DPU's BNSF 5754-5998 on same train.
9. EB 1122am manifest train with BNSF 4681-9382 on the point with no DPU.

10. WB 938am manifest train with BNSF 3968-3977-7744 on the pull with no DPU and a friendly toot-toot from the hogger.
11. WB 1041am manifest train with BNSF 7669-8504 on the point with bad order coal car for backyard spotting. More moves ahead on same train. Sorry the sunlight was on the dark side.

Great collection os shots Larry.  Really like the coal train shots and the work train.  Pretty neat you got to see the set-out as road trains just don't do station work hardly anymore.
