Was funny when she answered a question from Becky with "yes ma'am".

Seems Katie had a proper Texas upbringing.

Yes I'm sure Katie is most polite and resectful but you have to remember that Ms. Quick is the Queen of CNBC and
should be respected as such.

It's probably a really good idea to not upset the person interviewing you, especially on a business channel, since they can make your stock rise or sink with just a phrase or two.

Especially since Ms. Quick is Warren's favorite interviewer. I'm sure the interview was set up by a phone call from the
nice man who owns BNSF.

As BNSF is not traded it's rarely spoken of on CNBC except in the context of Buffett dealings. Also they give a lot of time
to Lance Fritz and I'm sure Buffett is tired of hearing from his Omaha neighbor.

That was right at the end, but for most of the interview, Katie addressed her as "Becky." The question was whether BNSF was able to find profit from the low margin intermodal business ("yes ma'am").

I think it's simpler than that. CNBC probably wanted the incoming CEO to get some press time, and this was the appropriate time to do so. I've watched some hardball questions from Becky Quick directed toward Warren Buffett before, and Katie basically dodged any controversy when Ms. Quick tried to get her to make comparisons with UP.

I guess it's up to Trainorders to make mockery of PSR. :-)

UP doesn't need our help.

Mr Buffett has also been interviewed occasionally by Fox's Liz Claman, and MSNBC Stephanie Ruhle.

True but his one hour sitdowns have been with Ms. Quick.
