Rolling Into The Weekend On The BNSF Lakeside Sub
Author: Ritzville

It was a breezy cool mostly sunny day in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Northern Transcon. The high-low was 66-41 with .21 of rain yesterday. The cold front cooled temps off, but warming back up for next week. Traffic is at 25 trains since midnight with more on the way. Had over 40+ trains yesterday, but I was in Spokane. Here are some of the trains from today and the last two days.

hey larry,

i have always heard of the "fall grain rush."  have you started noticing more grain trains up there?

also, do any grain trains originate out of ritzville?

Yes 66, I have noticed the grain rush with many more grain trains these days. When empty grain trains roll into the Templin wheat circle in Ritzville, they do originate out of the circle to Pasco, WA. Had a grain train come out of the circle today.

Larry,

Pasco may hold them in the Grain yard till there is room at the port to unload the train unless they go to Richland which is near Pasco...
