Western Railroad Discussion > Right Place at the Wrong TimeDate: 10/16/20 11:13 Right Place at the Wrong Time Author: TexBob After a 4-hour wait last night at one of the few places in Houston proper that are open enough to set up my lights,
KCS 4006 leads the MSZSH by me at 2120, moments after the skies let loose with a 15-minute downpour. Thanks to a small 15x15 board that I just happened to have in my car, I was able to shield the front of the lens to get this shot. It was raining so hard, and I was so wet, that I didn't even bother running to retrieve my lights. Adding insult to injury, I had left my car door window open because it wasn't raining when I stepped out of the car as the train got close. Adding even more insult to the injuries, once I got everything stowed in the car and on the way back home, the rain let up to a sprinkle.
