Western Railroad Discussion > now no amtrak for 16 statesDate: 10/17/20 10:29 now no amtrak for 16 states Author: dan right now(currently) there are 16 states with no amtrak trains, maybe more
Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/17/20 10:29 by dan. Date: 10/17/20 11:44 Re: now no amtrak for 16 states Author: SCAX3401 Yeah, we get it. Tri-weekly service on Amtrak long-distance trains sucks. But a minute-by-minute count of which states have an Amtrak train in them doesn't do much. If every long-distance train was still daily, how many states wouldn't have an Amtrak train right now? Many states only have an Amtrak train in them for a few hours each day, like Idaho for example. Nebraska would only have them at night for the most part.

traffic is BNSF deadheads. Out Date: 10/17/20 13:28 Re: now no amtrak for 16 states Author: wjpyper callum_out Wrote:

depot. By the time the DS quit running around the EB, Amtrak limped in nearly 4 hours late. Took them about 2 1/2 hours to change out the air hose. Now the report, at least on the Souithwest Chief, is that rooms/roometes are all sold out, coach is nearly sold out and ATK doesn't want to increase consist size. Somewhere in a MAD magazine issue this all makes sense. Out Date: 10/17/20 16:48 Re: now no amtrak for 16 states Author: ShortlinesUSA BNSF6400 Wrote:
