C40-3 that seems to have been there awhile. Looks like it was never modernized. No battery box, no plated over windows and roof walks Intact.

If its a married couple...perhaps this is his  "dog house"  when he is in trouble with the wife   :-)

I think he was referring to what appears to be a split system condenser below the caboose.
