Off the Main
Author: MacBeau

A mismatched quartet of B40–8Ws pull toward the Arizona & California interchange at Cadiz as an eastbound emerges from the distant sag, May 2016.
Be of good cheer,

Just curious. I've seen Cadiz mentioned several times over the years.   We have a Cadiz in Kentucky and it's pronounced KAY-deez.  I just wonder how your Cadiz is pronounced?

You have to remember first of all this is California, so I guess it would depend on who is doing the speaking and how much of what legal or illegal medication they are under the influence of at that particular moment in time. I unusually hear it as KAY-diz like dizzy. Then again, hell's doorstep (read California) has always had its own distinct dialect.
